A: Do not mark arms until you arrive at the meet and have verified that events and heats have not changed. Once you are certain of the events/heats/lanes, may mark your swimmer's arm. Watch this Video for tips on marking arms.
Q: What volunteer positions are available and how do I sign up?
A: There are 4 main positions - every meet needs 16 lane timers, 1 head/lead timer, 1 runner, and 2 console operators. Note: at every home meet, we need all hands on deck to help set up and tear down. Visit this page for more information about each position and how to register for volunteer positions.
Q: Where do I direct questions regarding registering to join the swim team?
A: To begin, contact the front desk of the YMCA either in person or by calling (740) 454-4767 . If they are unable to provide an answer, they can direct you to the appropriate individual.

Q: How do I register my swimmer for a swim meet?
A: Log on to https://my.swimtopia.com/login/, or use the Swimtopia App, find the correct meet, and select your events. If you have specific questions regarding which events your swimmer should register for, please direct message Coach Jen on GroupMe or ask her questions after swim practice has concluded.
